DESCRIPTION
Palmitoylethanolamide (or shorter PEA) is body own endocannabinoid, that can also be found in the plant, nuts, rice and many more. It is a molecule synthesized by the human body. In body high concentrations of PEA is found especially in areas where pain caused by inflammation is present. PEA is poorly water-soluble, which indicates an absorption by micellar passive diffusion in the intestine. This effect is strongly increased by liposomal encapsulation of the substance.
